CDJ-2000NXS2 em 2026: ainda vale um player de club usado?
O padrão foi superado duas vezes, mas riders ainda pedem. Por isso um par revisado continua sendo compra segura.
Why it still matters
Club riders are conservative. A venue that books touring DJs will be asked for CDJ-2000NXS2 or its successor by name. If you supply a pair that works, you solve a problem the venue actually has. That is the entire investment case.
What fails
Jog wheel tension and the jog sensor are the usual wear points. Displays delaminate at the edges on units that have lived in hot booths. USB ports loosen, and the link ports can be damaged by cables being yanked. Faders on the accompanying mixer wear faster than the players.
What a service should include
A proper service means cleaning the jog assembly, checking the sensor, replacing worn tact switches, inspecting the USB and link ports, and updating firmware. Ask for the service invoice, not a verbal promise.
Test routine
Load a rekordbox USB and test cue, loop, hot cue, slip and master tempo on both units. Connect them with a LAN cable and confirm ProDJ Link track sharing. Play a track on one and load the same track on the other to check sync. Run both for an hour and feel the top panel near the display.
What it is not
It is not a modern media player. It does not stream, it has an older screen, and it will not run the newest rekordbox features. Buy it because riders ask for it, not because you want the latest workflow.
Price logic
A serviced pair with cables and a case is worth a premium over two untested units. Replacement jog assemblies and displays are increasingly expensive, so a unit with a scratched but functional jog is a better buy than one with a dead display.
Our rule
We only list CDJs that pass the full routine above, and we note any cosmetic faults. If a player fails the jog test, it goes to parts, not to the listing.
