Condition grading
Grades describe cosmetic condition only. Functional condition is established by the bench test and documented separately.

Grade A — 90% or better
- Close to original appearance. Light rack rash or faint surface marks are acceptable.
- Grilles straight, corners intact, no repaint, no missing badges or knobs.
- Typically from fixed installations, theatres, churches or lightly used rental inventory.
Grade B — 70–90%
- Normal touring wear: scuffed corners, paint chips on hardware, scratches on side panels.
- Grilles may have been straightened. No structural damage and no missing functional parts.
- The standard grade for working rental fleets and the best value for most buyers.
Grade C — 50–70%
- Visible road wear, dents on non-structural panels, faded paint, possible replacement grille.
- Fully functional unless the listing states otherwise; every known fault is listed.
- Suited to hidden installs, spare inventory or buyers planning a repaint.
Accessories are graded separately
- Flight cases, bumpers, cables and covers are described in the listing and are not included in the cabinet grade.
- A Grade A cabinet may ship in a case with ten years of service. Ask what is included before comparing prices.
